2. Information we collect

We collect the following when you use our platform:

• Account information — your email address, business name, and store slug when you register.
• Order information — customer names, shipping addresses, and order details when you submit fulfilment orders.
• Payment records — transaction IDs from Razorpay or Stripe. We do not store card numbers or bank details — these are handled entirely by our payment processors.
• Usage data — pages visited, actions taken on the dashboard, and basic browser/device information for debugging.
• Support communications — emails you send to our support address.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your reseller account.
• To process and fulfil orders on your behalf.
• To send transactional emails — OTP codes, order confirmations, and shipping updates.
• To process subscription payments via Razorpay and Stripe.
• To improve our platform and diagnose technical issues.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Razorpay — payment processing for Indian customers (INR).
• Stripe — payment processing for international customers (USD).
• Google Cloud Platform — hosting, database, and infrastructure.
• Hostinger — transactional email delivery.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order records are kept for a minimum of 3 years for business and tax purposes. You may request deletion of your account by emailing hello@shipcube.com — we will process your request within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure database access controls, and environment-level secrets management to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable precautions.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@shipcube.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Active users will be notified by email when significant changes are made. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
